What we collect and why

We use your name, contact details, garment preferences, measurements and enquiry to respond to requests and prepare quotations. For orders, we also use delivery details, order information and payment confirmation to make and deliver your garment. These uses are necessary to take steps at your request before a contract and perform our contract. For general questions outside that context, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to your correspondence. Necessary accounting records are kept to meet legal obligations.

Please only provide details relevant to your garment or enquiry. You do not need to tell us health information or other sensitive personal details. Required contact fields let us answer you; optional fields and permissions are not a condition of ordering.

Personalised style illustrations

If you request an illustration, we use your chosen fabric and style, height, usual UK dress size and any preferred length to prepare an AI-generated visual guide. We use your name and email to handle the request and send the result. Illustrations are prepared manually and reviewed before sending; the website does not generate them automatically. We use OpenAI image-generation tools for this work. We include only the necessary garment details and approximate proportions in the image brief, not your name or email address. No photograph is required. Illustrations are not an accurate likeness, fitting assessment or guarantee of the finished garment. Illustration requests follow the enquiry retention periods below. Optional preference storage and marketing remain separate choices.

Your optional choices

Remembering your preferences for future enquiries and emailing you about suitable garments are separate, unticked choices. We rely on your consent for each optional purpose. We record the choices, the wording shown, the privacy-notice version and the time of submission. Declining either does not affect our response to your current enquiry. Cookie-notice dismissal is not consent to these uses.

We do not use automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about customers. Revai considers your preferences personally. We do not sell customer information.

You can also withdraw by emailing us or replying to a promotional email. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful use. For access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an objection where applicable, email us. We may need proportionate identity verification before disclosing or deleting personal records. We normally respond to rights requests within one month and explain any lawful extension.

Who helps us provide the service

Our website host, OpenAI Sites and its infrastructure providers including Cloudflare, process website data and security information. Resend delivers enquiry and order notifications to our business inboxes. Stripe processes payment details on its hosted checkout; Aura Afriq does not receive your full card number. Delivery companies receive the information needed to deliver your order. Access within Aura Afriq is limited to people handling the service.

Providers may process information outside the UK. Applicable safeguards depend on the service and destination, including approved contractual safeguards or adequacy arrangements where appropriate. How long information is kept

We keep enquiry details while handling the request and any related order or dispute. Closed enquiries are reviewed for deletion after 12 months unless needed for an ongoing matter. Optional preference records are reviewed after 12 months without relevant customer contact and deleted or renewed where needed. These are review periods, not a promise of automatic deletion on a particular day.

Order and financial records follow applicable tax and accounting requirements; we keep only the information needed for those obligations and resolving claims. Withdrawing permission stops optional use immediately in website records. Relevant order records may still need to be retained. We retain limited evidence of choices and withdrawals where needed to respect them and demonstrate our handling. Reviews must also cover copies in business email and provider systems.

Cookies and browser storage

The shop uses the following necessary security and shopping functions. We do not add advertising or analytics trackers to the shop. The notice is informational: dismissing it does not accept optional tracking. If optional tracking is introduced, we will update this information and provide the applicable controls before using it.

Cloudflare may also use security-challenge cookies when protecting the site; their operation is described in Cloudflare’s cookie documentation. Short-lived hashed network identifiers are used on the server to limit abusive form requests; they are not advertising identifiers stored in your browser.

Choosing checkout takes you to Stripe. Its payment and fraud-prevention storage is governed by Stripe’s cookie policy and any choices shown there. The shop’s notice does not grant consent on Stripe’s behalf. Browser settings can clear or block cookies and site storage, but doing so may disrupt your basket, checkout or owner sign-in.
